Post subject:  Is anyone up for an inpromptu trail ride?
Next weekend (January 13, 2007) if the weather holds out being warm and not snowy, I'm thinking about heading into the hills with my jeep for a day or two. Anybody else up for a ride sometime soon? Depending on interest we can move locations around, but it seems that somewhere in NH would be best. Maybe even Old Florida rd. In MA, if there are alot of takers from out that way. I've got that list of Class VI Roads in and around Enfield, NH that we could work from.

I checked the 10 day forcast for NH only because I was going to try & get something going for sun. the 14th & there's a 60% chance of rain, saturdays are up in the air for me due to work,but I'll know by weeks end or see if someone can work for me,sunday is a better day though..let me know & I'll make an announcment post

I'm going up to our favorite spot friday night/saturday whether or not anyone else comes...it's our super secret spot :roll: that's SUPER dark at night. I'm going to be bringing the telescope with me, and hopefully I'll have the T-Mount adapter for my Nikon by then...Either way...my girlfriend and I are going :D . The 'rents may be coming along in the White KJ Latti...Unfortunatley they wouldn't be able to join the "group" because they don't have skids or towhooks 8), but the trail isn't particularly challenging now that I think about it. Just a few steps up (about 10" on a slope), lots of loose rocks, and a few water crossings that were about 10-18" deep last time we went. It's just a really nice camping location, especially with a Jeep :lol: . If anyone is interested in going, I'll give you directions to the trailhead via PM as long as you promise not to post them on the internet. It's a HIKE to get to the trail, but the night views are 100% worth it, IMO. Hopefully it will be clear. First one to it gets to sleep in the Leanto!!

friday and sat. are a no go for me, pete if your going to put something together, I am good to go pretty much any weekend, the 21 or 28th would rule.

alright I put up an announcment for snowgod on a possible ride for this coming weekend 1/12 - 1/13 lets see where it goes

if nothing comes about I'll try & get something for the 21 or 28 BUT I want to check the weather updates to see what's happening with that

what about sunday 14th ???? even though there'll be a 60% chance of rain

Wheelin' in the rain is fun too though. You're spot on sunday though, after a hot shower so you guys can stand to have me upwind :shock:
