Hey all, here's an update on the famed compass logo!

I passed off the design to pixeldzn (Don), the pro graphics designer who is responsible for our awesome New National Sticker Design

Here's what he came up with. I'm loving it so far, what do you guys think?

I think it is great. I do really love the one that you worked on with the shovel in it.

just a note - Se7enLC asked me to help him alter the design so it would work for a VINYL decal like the new national one I designed. The older design would require a printed decal that would be more bumper sticker like, so this design attempts to remain along the same lines but work with a different production process.

revision 4:

Yeah, my own personal thought is that simpler is better, and with the two color black and white logo, you can put it on anything in any color you want and it'll look good. I do like the earthy green and tan/brown, though, too. It's very jeep!

Love the final revision there, northeast in the northeast, the tick marks in the empty quadrants keep it from looking empty, and the shovel's back. Great work!

might look good opposite(pass side) my trail rated badge if it can be made small enough :) also thought we were going to put the other compass on the t-shirt in front? providing we change colors?

can't make em as small as the trail rated badge because they are impossible to cut on the vinyl plotter and then remove the unwanted vinyl. Also, your antenna is in the spot of the trail rated badge on the opposite side.

These can be the same size as the national decal (4" round) and look very nice next to each other or on opposite sides of the back window glass.

This artowrk can also be colorized for a tshirt, unless you guys want a more detailed design like Se7enLC's version.

Looks better! How bout removing the two black 1/2 circles arount the center point of the shovel so it sort of lightens up the center?

Dont wanna sound like a naysayer or anything, just looking for opinions, but doesnt a shovel on our logo emply that we need to use it often to dig out...? Maybe it should be a M-16 or something, or a thin sillouette of a naked girl? LOL

hehe - EVERY truck will get stuck in something. When we get stuck, though, it's so badly stuck we have to be dug out! :-P
