If you have you have stock Renegade side steps you won't get over the dirt mound without damaging them. It's steep. I dragged my transfercase skid and Boulder Bars on that and I've got 4" of total lift.
I guess I'll be pulling my steps off again on Friday. Luckily it only takes about 1/2 hour total time.

Adam, did you go over the first mound or the second one? There's a second entrance, almost all the way down on the left that I saw a Toyota Camry drive over... Unless they built it up again in the last two weeks.
If the first mound is too steep we can drive over to the other one and see if it connects to the site. I'd rather drive a little bit extra then risk anyone getting any damage.
I took a really close look at the Google map. While I don't know how up to date it is, it looks like there are possibly 3 seperate ways to get in off of Yaphank Woods road. It looks like they all connect to the main section. Hopefully that's so and at least one of them will be traversable without carnage. I would recommend removing the stock Renny steps though if u have them. It's really easy to do.
Looking at the image below you will (I hope. They came out tiny) See 4 placemarks labelled 1,2,3 and connection. I believe we can get in at any of the 3 numbered ones. #2 I think is where Adam came in and went to the parking lot. I think it connects to the main section where I have it labeled "connection" (much easier to see on the bigger view, trust me).
#s 2 or 3, one of them I assume is the dirt hump (I think it's #3). The other may be an alternate way in.
Also, if u look way down in the lower left hand corner where the local road crosses 495 it looks like there is a service rd which runs all the way from there alongside and up into the fairgrounds on both the left and right sides. It may be closed off but it may also be an alternate means of entry. It is labeled "E. Main St" where it crosses 495 then becomes "Long Island Expressway Rd" which ties into "N. Manor Rd" on the left side of the fairgrounds and simply "Service Rd" on right side on the Google map. "Service Rd" is the rd which connects my point #2 to "connection" (If u have google maps installed all this is much clearer.)
(PS... I'm a big map/gps geek)
Hmmm.... I just reread everything I just typed...... You can ignore the last two paragraphs as incomprehensible and just look at the pretty picture.
It made sense to me at the time!
