Well i just got the motorola Droid last night and spend a good half of the night playing with it, the navigation with the touch screen is simple, but the coolest things are as follows.. access to the internet in Android platform is much faster than the BB Storm2. videos on youtube are much clearer on the 3.7 inch screen and actually fill the screen rather than 1.2 the 3.2 inch screen on the storm2. they load faster and the sound quality is MUCH better on the droid. #2, the droid has a contract with google, so you can voice google anything.. you go to the google app and say "LostJeeps" and it takes you right there.. no typing.. how cool is that.. right out of the box, you can "voice call" anyone say "home" and it dials you home #.. pretty cool.. it comes loaded with google maps, FREE GPS.. go to maps, say where you want to see and it takes you there.. you can say "directions to" and it gives you directions from where you are to where you want to go. it has a 5 mp camera and HD VIDEO and also a pre installed 16GB memory card.. I wanted a data plan so I could access the internet, GPS, play my music and videos and this thing is perfect. this thing is amazing.. another good thing is its wifi capabilities, before i decide to get the Android i read some reviews saying that people had problems connecting wirelessly... but it seems like it was taken cared of because i have been connected to my router for about 1/2 hour. another good thing about this is the free apps you can get for droid, so far i just downloaded a game, Wefi connecter (searches for wireless connection in your area and connects you automatically), a weather program, and an app to kill programs running in the background to save on battery usage, there are pages and pages of free apps. Its about time verizon came out with a phone like this.
