i mean i dont wanna stop you guys from going, and i dont even have any money for gas, so we'd have the same prob we had that other time we went, runnin' on half lol and i gotta get skids first before i go. i need the screws for my tranny and t-case skids and i need an engine skid, then i can go. so you guys can go without me, just take awesome pix :]

(Rachael, did you call them yet? I would get on that ASAP, then order the Engine Skid.
Or if you get bolts and drill holes where I told you, you would only need two more, and then you can get the same bolts from the hardware store.)

(I'm assuming Peter can't, since that is his wedding weekend and all, and we don't want the first fight to be about the Jeep, two days after the wedding, lol.)

you shouldnt have to drill any holes for the skids. they bolt up to factory holes using nutzerts

Yeah..
I drilled four holes, two for the rear of the Transmission, and two for the front of the Transfer Case.
I did that instead of the nutzerts, because I read on LOSTJEEPS that sometimes the nutzerts can start to spin and it becomes difficult to get out the bolts.

my nutzerts still holding strong and I have taken my skids off more than i would like to. Took a hot minute to figure out the little tool that comes with the skids, but once they're in there, no worries.
And you guys/gals are killing me with these runs! I'm off Mondays, but I will be in Ohio for a wedding. UGH!

I'm Brooklyn based and want to know where to go. Prefer that it's with a group as then have a tug or can give a tug if need be. Let me know  :pepper:

With the heat on out east, there really is only the beaches to wheel these days. Permits though are not for sale till Labor Day again for the state pass.
