Well I finally did it... After first seeing BennyMigs, LI_KJ, and now Infernicas with a lift and how nice the KJ looked I did it. I got the OME lift and it arrived yesterday! Wohhooooo!!

Ok guys and gals, me and Benny have been talking about a Lift party and we are planning one for July 19th (on a Monday) and we would probably be starting at 9AM at Bennys house. If anyone of you guys or gals wanna join in, there will be free BEER and eats. This will be a great learning experience. :pepper:

Sorry, no strippers, the economy is bad and I spent all my money on the lift

Sweeeeeeet
I am SO there.

I'm so psyched for you, it's really the best thing you can do, I wish I would've saw Jeff's a month after I bought my Jeep, I would've lifted it right then.

I have experience putting it in, not too difficult, great idea starting at 9am. I started at like 3pm, lol.
I'll bring the ratchet straps, impossible to get the clevis back without them.

Obviously anything you need let me know. Especially when it gets closer.

Congrats on the lift, welcome to the club. :-)r

Haha, I had to Google that. Ménage à trois, is the spelling I'm used to, haha.

It can be done, we just need to be motivated..

Does Peter's kit have the front struts already assembled?

I'm pretty sure Andrew's need to be put together.

If it makes it easier I might be able to find a place that can assemble them here?

No I do not, is there a place I could get new plates? Or do I have to use the ones on the rig?

You can get new one but they are about $100. The old ones will work fine you just have to get them out before you install them.

Andrew, it is not necessary to get new top plates. The original ones are fine, they don't really wear out. As long as Benny knows of a place, we'll be fine. Just have to take a break and get it done, easy enough.

Peter, I feel for you, I only had to wait one week. But three weeks, that's rough, lol.

I remember when I was waiting for my lift, I tore it apart the night before the life was schedueled for delivery, then we had a storm and I had to wait another day with the jeep torn apart on jack stands in the shop. :banghead:
