Took a ride out today to the Image and it was great out there. Tried fishing but it sucked specially when the guy 50 feet away from me us catching blues and I didnt even feel a nibble. Anyways all and all it was a nice calm windless day out there with some cuties walking around.

Here are some pictures.

I was jealous enough watching you guys wheeling yesterday and now this! You know how much I love riding on the sand. Serves you right for not catching anything!
But, I get the Jeep back tomorrow and you can be sure of where I am taking it right away!
Ha!

It was beautiful out there. Forgot to add that I saw a VW type old school van with an SFA and a 6 inch lift with huge tires that would put some lost members to shame  when I was airing back up. Dont know what time of motor they had in there but it sounded mean...

One thing I've noticed about the Rig of the month is that you have to be heavily modified to win so I gave up on it. I never saw a stock KJ win :(

Jeff will have my vote.

Well i went out to the Thumb on the 4th and man was it crowded! It was like a parking lot out there. So heres a story....

As i and some other folks were airing down a lexus SUV flys by lifting up lots of dust and i could tell that he had a smerk on his face because i saw his face on his side mirror. Everyone had a "what a Richard" look to them.

I immediately told my fiance that he was going to get stuck and if he does I AINT HELPEN HIM. So I jump in her , drop her on all fours (what are you thinking you pervs! I mean the KJ! lol) and headed out. Guess who i happen to see stuck... yup the lexus... so i slowly drove by and see him digging with his hands and politely ask if he needs help... He says yes... So them i reminded him that I was one of the people that got the dust bath from him when i was airing down and told him to have fun digging as i slowly drove away. My fiance was  and of course i was . Hopefully he learned his lesson. On the way home there were 2 SUVs stuck, and the one in the back didnt have reverse! lol oh man what are these people thinking.. lol

here are some pictures.

Oh yea by the way, i got a keeper! First one of the year and hopefully not the only one.

There you go again! And rub it in more with a nice fat fish! Looks like a great time. When I get my leaky pinion fixed AGAIN, we have to get a fish and greet at the thumb.
I was at smiths point over the holiday weekend and watched numerous idiots clogging to exit/entrance to the beach with bald street tires and full air pressure. Was kind of amusing watching people big down over and over. I mean cmon, just air down and do everyone a favor. I just don't understand sometimes!!!

fish and greet would be awesome! Theres a place right off of RM parkway where we can buy the bait. Its pretty cheap too, one bunker and one small container of clam is 6 bucks.

BUT if you really want to fish the best time for it is at 5 or 6PM and on at the thumb because during the morning and afternoon times its packed with soccer moms and their kids, guys fishing on their boats, and the charter boats are around too. Well when ever you guys want let me know, I can only do afternoons on Saturdays.

You can still get one after labor day.

If you dont im sure the guys will be getting it again next year. When the time comes ill send a PM out to everyone for a meet to get the permits.

By the way, hows the fishing your way? Any luck?

How about one day a trail run, the next day a beach run this weekend?

I can probably go Saturday or Sunday, as long as we're there at like 9am. I would have to leave by noon the latest to go to work.

Well went fishing today and wasnt much out there. My rod nose dived but it didnt hook, got shorties and sea robins.

Also dont leave your bunker (bait) out of the bucket if you have sea gulls around you even if your just going to cast. Those suckers will nose dive for it and take it! I was lucky my bunker was a big one so he really couldnt fly away with it. A$$holes...

:furious:
