I was looking into getting some rock rails for the KJ. I really liked Rock Lizards Super Skinks, but alas he's done making product. I like the extra side step to help protect rocks from reaching up to door panels, not that the trails I run would warrant it. Regardless, I like the look of the extra piece instead of the underbody only sliders.
I like BennyMigs' Supersliders, but don't think they make them for KJ's anymore. Similar to Benny's are the Rocky Road version look decent as well with their slightly upward sloped angle. http://www.rocky-road.com/kjrockrail.html.
The boulber bars at All J's aren't my fave but they are cheapest http://www.boulderbars.com/kjboulderbars.html
Which type do you guys think would looks best on an 06 KJ?
I wanna finish armoring this thing so I can take it a little further.

You forgot one option on the poll:

Stop by BennyMigs crib and steal his!

I too have been eying some rails and its been ever since i saw Bennys the first time we met to get the beach permit.
Personally I would go with the supersliders. They give that extra protection on the side. It may not be much but all it takes is a one little bump to put your door panel in and if the girly complains about them just say that its a step to help them get in.
By the way, do they come painted? If it was me I would line-x it. I'm planning on line-Xing my roof basket before the winter hits.

That would be great but I think he is officially done, at least the last I had heard...
group order might be good for a discount, how many of us are interested in buying the same type of rock rails?

Hmm, now that I think about it, Im gonna get the picture from RL and bring it to work with some dimensions. Maybe one of the welders can put together a set or two for a couple extra bucks. Anyone know where I can get the dimensions, or have a set that they have measured before?

I think they are all great.. But compare the mounting and design strength of these rock rails.

I'd love me some skinks. But those rockyroads don't look bad, just not as beefy with the supports.

The angle of the lip on the RRO rails seems to be at a bit too steep of an angle

Very true Dean and I do fancy the skinks more then the RYs but then again how much action are we really going to see with those in LI? The only things we have here are Mud holes, dry lakes, and sand pits. If I ever buy those (birthday is coming so hopefully the fiance will cover it ) the most action they'll see is in the parking lots when other people slam there doors on it.
