Peter I can't stand my MTRs I hear all these great things about the old style MTR then I go wheeling and I feel like I have slicks on. Im with you tho, on to the next set.
I want some TSL Radials or something.
You did very well in some places and others not so much.. the leaves and the moist ground definitely did not help.

I was considering buying some mtr tires. But it looks like my ATs would have faired better. Did you air down at all? That must have been a little doodoo maker when you started sliding sideways. Looks like the soft ground saved you from a possible tip over. Nice shots and vids.
Yeah I aired down to about 19psi, Andrew said he was down to about 15psi. I went up that same hill, or I should say I tried to.. My friend has that video. The videos dont do a justice on how steep it is. I was shitting a brick. I know what I need to do next time to make it up. I just really didn't want to roll over, lol.

looks like a sick time... kinda jealous lol
You should be!
Although I don't know how happy you'll be when you look at your "Brilliant Blue" Paint when you come out of the woods. Most of it should buff out pretty good. At least it won't be too noticeable with my color. Or if I had a rack or light bar, I probably would have left most of it in the woods, lol. Time to bed line the roof! (and the fenders!)

Looks like you guys had a great time and the pics & vids are great. Andrew - with all the bad luck you've had with your past engine troubles, it looks like luck was on your side with that almost roll over. I can't believe you tried that hill again after that happening! Do you think I would have made it to any of those sections with my stock suspension or do you really need a lift to get that deep into those woods?
Andrew is definitely a trooper! If you are stock, and at the actual stock height, and not sagged real low. And have Skid plates. And have a
great spotter, you should be ok on some of the parts. There are a couple go arounds. VERY ROCKY!
