check the tires... get a gauge its cheap... digital ones work good as long as you don't have a cheap one but even a conventional gauge would work... read your sidewall max pressure and keep it about 5-9 PSI below that... do it when the tires are cold, this way when the tire heats and the pressure rises you won't have issues.... if you plan to go on the beach your going to need one as you will be airing down every time and airing back up.... even when you wheel on dirt you should air down a bit and if you ever do rock crawling you always air down

PSI also depends upon the Load range of the tire. I have E rated tires and they can be inflated up to 80PSI (as it states on the sidewall). But if you ran a pressure that high without a heavy load, it's likely the handling and traction would suffer. I usually run them at 40PSI normal day to day driving. Anything higher and the Jeep tends to 'SKIP' when driving at highway speeds and hitting a large bump. But if I was towing or carrying a heavier load you could boost the PSI up. My :2cents:

x2 wit li kj . also if you tend to fill up to around max psi your tires will prolly wear out quick in the center from being overinflated also just my :2cents:
