Their not going to be check for the equipment so you can still get the permit. The beach only open on April and so you'll have enough time to buy whats needed.

I'll be at the round about at 9:01AM.

just for others to know, you only need the 4x4 fishing permit to go on the beaches.... that and a 10 dollar state fishing license technically. they wont check supplies, only time I havee ever seen suopplies check was once when i went with my friend.... a guy BURIED his dakota and we stopped to ask him if he needed a tug out, sure enough state dec rolled by and they asked to see permits etc, guy asked the guy in the dakota if he has all the necessary things and he did not. I dont know if he got a fine or not as i scooted on out of there since the officer said he'd pull him out. but yeah, you dont "need" that stuff, but if you get in a jam your gunna wish you had it lol

It all depends on the parks police cops. You can get some nice guys that wont bother you or you can get a penis that will give you a hard time. If you don't have the proper equipment they will write (that's why they don't want you to laminate then) a warning on the permit, at the second warning their allowed to revoke it. So lets say you get the permit revoked in July of 2011 you have to wait a year to get another one. So that would be july 2012 but as we all know they only go on sale Jan to Apr so that means you'll have to wait until Jan 2013. So yea this homie don't play that.

^^ that will make sense if you read it twice^^

Also if by any chance your permit gets "stolen" **coughcough lost cough** and you want another one. You will have to go to the police precinct and file a "stolen" report with them, take that to the RM office, shake down a branch to fork over another 65 leafs and everything will be all warm and wonderful. :SOMBRERO:

So where will you be coming from? If you want we can meet off exit 49 on the LIE and take it from there.

If not take the Southern state park way to exit 40 which is the RM parkway (Robert Moses Parkway) going south. If you start crossing bridges, don't worry! You're going the right way!
Just keep going straight until you reach the tower.
Image

When you get to the tower round about just pull over and chiiill.
