So I ordered my Frankenlift for the libby  . I'll have to figure out where to find space to put my thinkin cap on and install it. I'm just down to deciding on tires. I think I've got it narrowed down to either trXus mt or Duratrac.

Maybe I'll meet some of you all someday to have fun with the grocery getter turned toy.

Yes! You will love it once it's all broken in. Let us know when and where this is going down as I'm sure a few of us could get the kit on your Jeep!
Congrats! :pepper:

Hey that would be sweet dude! I'd love some advice and have had fun at mod parties for motorcycles before!

BTW,
Has anyone had experience ordering from Quadratec?
I'm debating from ordering from either them or 4wheel parts.

congards on the lift! I've also heard good things about quadratec.

Here's a small video of my lift party. It was a fun time and we did 2 lifts in 12 hours.

Ordered from Quadra and 4wheel. Both pretty good to deal with. Though Quadra drop shipped my item, which wound up taking 2 weeks to ship from Australia, but that is too be expected I suppose. LIFT PARTY! :SOMBRERO:

just got the tracking number from All J! Getting excited. I'm on a job out in California for almost two more weeks. I'll have to ask around and see if anyone I know has any space in their garage to do the lift in (It is January LOL). When I figure it out I'll post up. Coffee/Bagels/Beer/Pizza on me!!!

I pulled a favor and got use of a garage in Staten Island (with a heater :pepper: ). Looks like this is gonna go down (or up  ) sometime during the last week of this month (or weekend).

Sweet! Just make sure the garage is large enough to pull the jeep out! :)
Typically you gain about 3-4 inches over stock, let us know when you get a date for sure.

You could have the first NY SFA! How cool is that?
What type of axels we talking here? Full widths?
I so wanna SFA when this thing is out of warranty. My front axel has been nothing but trouble for the past 50000 miles, so it wouldn't hurt to see something more beefy under there. Of course $$$ is the problem!!! :furious:

It appears that the only difference is the use of "Doetsch Tech Rear Long Travel Shocks" instead of "OME132L Rear Long Travel Shocks"
I don't have an opinion on the Doetsch Shocks, I have OME.

day 1 report:
That's not the best way to start a review of a mod that should take a half a day.

So, having never done anything like this before I took my time. Everything was going fine until that F%$king clevis... I used ratchet straps but it was worrisome for a minute or 30. I was pretty worried that I was gonna rip a CV boot. I had a few rags wrapped around it. One thing I did that I'm sure people have done but I didn't see listed was to put a small long bolt through the top of the unbolted clevis and have two nuts in the middle to act as a stretcher.
When I went to lift the assembly to re-attach the upper control arm the whole thing wouldn't compress as it was hung up on the body on the back of the wheel well. I tried calling All J but my reception was bad in the shop. They called back but I didn't get it. I just went for it and kept jacking (lol) and it slipped off the body and compressed. Got it all back together and then did the other side. After it was all done up front I went to re-attach the calipers and... doh. The brake lines were running in front of the spindle. I had to take apart again to run them behind. In the process my hang wire let loose and the caliper dropped and I broke the driver side brake line. So I had to put a call into Autozone to order a new one.

I went on to the back which was so way super easy compared to the front (especially having a full lift vs jack stands). I did get carried away using the air impact and stripped one of my lugs. Gonna have to try to rethread that tomorrow when I go and put the new brake line on. Then I'll have to get the tires balanced and an alignment done. Hope tomorrow ends without any more snafus.

It was a last minute thing. I was gonna try to do it this weekend. But then I figured I want to snowboard this weekend so...

I figured no-one would be available on a Monday.

Thanks anyway dude!

Hopefully I'm done by lunch tomorrow.
