Post subject:  Outlawed Offroad M&G Run
Peter(VMKJCRD), John (Jeepin_it_real), Luigi (luigi1285), and I (LIKJ) met up for the Outlawed Offroad LI Meet and Greet at Lowes in Medford today. A stout offering of nicely built XJs and assorted other rigs showed up then went wheeling. The guy with the $1400 XJ that was jumping the dirt mound was crazeeee! I think John got some of his first trail rash back there and faired well w/o skids. Carful driving (and 4wd helped)!!!

Thanks to Peter for the shotgun ride, I got out of cleaning the Jeep again!
....but it would be nice to actually wheel the thing again!

to be fair john's stuck was with him in 2 wheel drive... they i'm talking in the third person. and i only get stuck when and you and pete jeff lol.... The video was great.... the ending made my night.... and the guy with the 1400 XJ was ridiculous, he was doing the jump in the beginning he was tryin to climb a vertical wall and almost fillped his doo doo... all in all they were a fun crew, very nice and i had a great time.... first trail rash sucks... i'll see/post the full effect tomorrow after i give it a bath... i'd do it again, next time with skids I'd be more daring for sure... maybe walk a few trails and snap a few branches too... the sound of the branches on the side of my truck just sounded like nails on a chalk board....

Those XJs just made it look so easy..

You're right John every time we take you some where new you always get stuck.

i'm down for the rails asap... gotta get one more skid and then i'll be a lot more daring... trail rash i got was pretty decent, some deep scratches, may have to wet sand a bit and then compound and polish to get these ones out.... :shock: ... the noise of the branches screeching on my paint still creeps me out tho lol

darn, looks like you guys had fun, sorry I couldn't make it. Next time for sure.


I feel like the NYC crowd is the most active near me, Im thinking Ill keep a close eye out for your meets and wheels... not to say I dont want to meet ;) but if I knew you guys would get some play time yesterday I would have DROPPED everything. Fun times.

I posted the video linky in the OG post at the top bro! Haha! Fun day, and I'm sure you would have jumped that mound as well. We were commenting on that when we were watching those XJ guys tearing it up. I know you would've left with a few less parts attached to your Jeep!

Hey john, idk if i ever showed you my trial rash (i think i did) but i dont think yours would ever beat mine. its gotten so baddd. an i couldnt go on this wheeling trip bc i had work :[ im def down for the next one. im all skidded out and ready to take my new tires off road (since i havent since i got them) how come you guys didnt get any pix of luigi doing doo doo or john supposedly getting stuck?? im missing out on all these times!!! I HAVE TO GO WHEELING! IM HAVING WHEELING WITHDRAWL!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

my weekends are smoked for the next two weeks but I think Id take a personal\sick\vaca day for a weekday ride... Dont get me wrong, I shredded the snow yesterday, but I need some MUD!

I did see your trail rash at the beach M&G, but for trying to avoid alot of the branches i got pretty torn up lol alot more than i thought i did, and that was super clear after i rinsed it off lol... nothing a good detailing/ wet sanding cant fix

haha it's really not too hard to do... just a lil patience and some time... I can explain wet sanding, and then after you went sand you use a compound to fill the scratches, then you use your gloss and then obviously wax
... I'm a detailing pro. for car shows etc i usually spend about 8 hrs to do the interior and exterior... and when i say clean i mean Q-tip status

Would you be able to help me fix up my Jeep bc i need to sell it and i can't with all her cuts and bruises :[ i will pay what ever the cost :2cents:
