LOST 2011 first beach run of the year!

OK ladys and gentleman,

Since we had such an awesome turn out for the permits I thought that maybe we could do a first beach run of this year.

So far the beaches will open on April 1 so we can take a run out to Democrat point and the Sore Thumb on April 2 so the people that got the permit this year will get familiar with the beaches.
Hopefully Dean wont decide to do a dukes of hazzard move this time around or maybe someone else will take his place :jester:

So lets get some plans going people!

I got my permit today. You have 1 more month to get it. They do not limit the amount of passes they said. I my be good on the 3rd what time I have a shoot around 5 or so.

and idk about work that sunday because i dont get my schedule till wed, so ill let you know i prolly dont work. but i asked off for that sat the 2nd but i gotta go upstate for a Art museum visit so sat's no bueno por mi :dizzy:

Any word on if the state beaches are going to open on schedule this season? Hope to have the CB all wired up by then. So John, if you are going on this run, can you bring the SWR meter and whatever else it is we need to tune my radio and antenna?

Demo and the Thumb will be opening on April 1st.

Seems like we have a good crew showing up.

Lets start getting some times together.

We will be going to Democrat point and the Sore Thumb.
Democrat point has air stations thanks to LIBBA but bring your own air compressor just in case their not turned on yet.
Sore Thumb has no air station. If you don't have an air compressor I have a foot pump you can use :ROTFL:
