ok my frankenlift should be here on the 20th. i really could use some help installing this as i have no clue or the tools to do it. i can help as much as need be .. also supply pizza/food and drinks. i really hate to pay a shop to install this. so im calling out for help LOST who can help me?

Are you installing on the 20th or getting the lift that day? I would wait till you get it and then plan a date before you ask for help. Just my :2cents:

I may be ordering my sliders earlier then expected. If i can get them prepped painted and ready to install and you still need help with the lift, we may be able to get a jeep party going to have help installing our stuff.

Yeah, I don't care what people say, we're nice over here!

I don't have a place to do it though. But if it was set up, and I was free, I would definitely help out.

I also don't know if the 6.5 hour, 350 mile round trip is worth it. (and thats to me in Queens, we did two lifts 50 miles east of me, fifty miles isn't so bad for me (I drive everywhere for work), but add another 100 miles to that round trip, plus gas and time.)

Keep asking around to different shops, or keep trying to meet different car buddies to help out. Find some local car shows.
I don't know if it's like this elsewhere, but there is an Autozone by me that has people in the parking lot waiting around to help install stuff. They don't work for Autozone, they are freelance, and do charge.
Ask your friends if they know anybody, even if they charge you a little bit, might be better than a shop.

Yeah. Like infernicus said we have done a few lifts here on the island, but a drive to RI is a bit far for many of us (esp with gas prices these days!-No comments Peter! :lol: )
But I am down to help out, but again I have no space to host an install party in Queens. I like Irollgen4s idea of a slider/install party. But you also need the stuff in ASAP. Most of us have all the tools and such, just no space to get er done.

I'm more than willing to come down and help but I have never done a lift before. I am pretty mechanically inclined though (I once took the fuel injection system from a '91 Crown Vic and put it on a '71 Bronco engine block) so I don't think it would be too much of a problem. I was going to do mine myself but I wnated to get it in during winter and didn't have a garage so I paid someone else to do it for me.

If you can get it done fro free though that would be a steal.

If only yall lived closer this way i would help even host have a full shop with 2 high capacity compressors and air tools. Plus enough bays for three vehicals to work inside and asphault of atleast 8.
