Not really but yeaaa.

Anyways as some of you may know I had a problemo with the Jeepo which ended up being the U-joint on the drive shaft.

I did some search in the interwebz and found out that they have grease-able U-joints.

So I said to myself" I'll call the mech and tell him to get me one of those. Next day came around and at lunch time I get a call from him saying that the KJ was ready...

So much for that idea! :banghead:

Got the KJ home, took a look under her and to my surprise there was a grease fitting in the U-joint

Just thought I would share that.

The part was 23 bucks and labor was 75.

I didn't take it to the dealer because they would probably charge me an arm and a leg.

no to replace the old warned U-joint from the drive shaft with that new one :ROTFL:

Forgot to add. I checked mopar parts of America and they sell them for $73.77 and they aren't even grease-able.

Mine is grease-able, it was 23 dollars, and also made in America.

So you add the 77 dollars to what ever hours Mitchell's labor guide says. Could be 1 or maybe 2 hours of labor and add 100 dollars an hour maybe more. Soo yea I paid 98 dollars from my guy, if I went to a "stealership" I would probably have to fork over around 200.

I think I did well...
