yep

So I went to the beach today and did some fishing. I don't know what I got on the line but it was strong enough to snap my 20lb line, bent the spike that was in the sand from my new pole holder, and almost dragged my pole into the water :banghead: . It was the line that snapped because I always use steel leader hooks... But as the Terminator would say: I'LL BE BACK 8) . With a stronger line!

Where's Brian and his 60lb line when you need it. :5SHOTS:

Besides that It really wasn't that bad. It was a little windy but also warm at the same time and the water was very conferable .
I caught 1 Bass and 2 short flukes while I was out there.
:JEEPIN:

Sounds like a good time. My buddy cancelled on me with the shooting, thought the rain was going to be an issue.

Today ended up being a beautiful day (not now, but earlier today).

Hey guys just a heads up. I just saved Tom from a very disappointing trip today. I should have posted this sooner.

The Sore Thumb is closed and it will remain closed for a while because of beach erosion.

Demo is open and after labor day its anything goes as what time to get in.

Haha, I was going to say.. isn't this kid on his Honeymoon, lol.

Enjoy! I had a list of places that I thought were awesome when I went, but I have no idea where that is. I'm sure you're going to have a smashing time anyway.

Dean that's awesome! I always wanted to do that. I see you guys have no shoes. Did you land in water???
The best time for the thumb is in the AM and EARLY if you want to get a spot by the water.

Got this privacy tent for the wifey. Now she has no excuses. haha

This arrived yesterday!

Like Dean said definitely go with the spray on bedliner. I'm glad I did, the wife uses it as a step bar and since its bedlined it doesn't scratch. If it was paint it would be all scratched up by now.

Yeah man, I've been reading your woes all over the net.

Brian, you should try to swap in a 4wd transfer-case in your Saturn. Bring that on the beach!

Leave it two wheel drive, more fun for us to get it unstuck!
