I'm definitely down, I was thinking of maybe heading out to Robert moses beach. I don't think the Thumb will be open and if it is there wont be much of it left after the storm clears.

im right above the evacuation point, got lucky, and peter im jealous that you extended your breathers, dean and i were going to do it the other night but lost was down (of course) so we couldnt get the directions

my yard is a mess right now and the strongest winds haven't even started yet. still have power but it's been going on and off. I heard it's only supposed to be bad till 10:00 am. cant wait to drive around to assess the damage :JEEPIN:

and i just saw on the news we have a tornado warning until 5:15 crap

Lost power in the early AM as I slept. Power was restored at 4:55 PM.

Wind was not bad. Had much worst wind events.

Flooding is another story. The storm surge pushed the Hudson to overflow its banks here. My next door neighbor got water in his garage and that never happen before. Neighbors lower on my road are pumping out their basements. I could see debris from the Hudson all over the place. And I'm talking some mighty big logs.
