If it's the cv/intermediate connection, it will most likely strip ou the splints and loose power to that wheel with some wicked bad sounds I'm sure. If its the actual cv joint fails and separates then it could be really bad if you are driving. Much like the a-arm failure, not to mention possibly damaging your axle and differential amongst other parts. Be careful buddy...
