Anyone know a company that can build a new front driveshaft with U joints for a 05 liberty? I am confined to the internet due to the location where I live (fairbanks AK). I went to young's gear (shithole) and they tried to sell me a O.E. shaft without the T-CASE side C.V. joint sealed. Supposedly there is a clamp/die you can buy for $600 to crimp the two ends together... The guy I talked to at the counter had no clue about anything... Do not get any work done there whatsoever. bad news bears... anyways, any info helpful, thankx

You do not need the clamp /die to put the new cv head on. It takes a little time (and a couple of good sets of pliers)to get it to work. Not the right way but mine has lasted 10,000 mile now. You can get the cv head for less than a hundred bucks. Search front drive shaft and you can find the u joint type drive shaft that some are using.
