He has a pro level spray rig for plastidip, he changes colors on the whole jeep every time we wheel. He'll shoot your jeep any color, you wheel it for a while then peel the stuff off (takes only a few minutes) and the thing is spotless and looks new, cool stuff. He does choose some wacky color combos though.

Yes stock axles. He is going back to 37's, the 40's were borrowed for some testing and parade duty. The 37's provide a better overall balance for the wheeling that we do. Stock axles with c-gussets and a truss hold up quite well as long as you are not a pin it to win it type. The 40's came from a jk rubi with stock 44's that has sleeves and gussets, it has been used on every red level trail the owner can find. When he built the jeep he decided to run the 40's till the stockers fail then upgrade to 60's. That was 2 years ago and he is still wheelin, needless to say we have all been quite surprised after reading on forum that stock axles were so weak. Seems it's all about the driver, and where you live. The huge rocks out west put a lot more stress on stuff than the northeast trails is my guess.

That's what I think. I mean if you're always putting the pedal down, or doing some serious rock crawling you might kill the axles quick, but trail riding will most likely be fine.

I would think he would rub big time, even with the 37s.

I actually just looked up the zip code for a round figure, and that really isn't bad. A 2 hour drive, probably a little more than that with traffic. My family used to have property up in Delhi and even that wasn't bad. My uncle's property was a hike up in Stratford. It was like a 4 and a half hour ride lol

So it's a two hour drive for me, crossing my fingers I don't get nailed on the way up there through the tolls with my tinted winshield and tail lights but I'm down! I'll take off of work on a Saturday...... Keep me in the loop too!

"weather permitting" haha, the worse the weather the better the wheelin! Plus we have the tunnel for a hang out bbq area, it stays pretty dry unless the winds get really high.
