Really, why aren't we meeting up somewhere to do some Jeep talk?

I know I'm busy with school, work, and personal events for the next 2-3 weeks. Then I'm going hunting when the rifle season starts up for the Delhi/Oneonta area. Not sure when that is though. Drucifer, how far off the Island are you? I'm down for a meet & greet if time permits and we can get some interest. Depending on where it is, we might get some NJ and PA guys as well.

We now go months in both Liberty forums without any NE posts and yet I see hundreds of Libs on the road. Apparently most Liberty owners don't join forum.

Still lurking, no one does meet ups much anymore. A few of the guys/gals have sold their Jeeps :dead: , and moved on to newer vehicles. Heck, mines getting up there with 150000K on it, but still going and still repping the club on the rear glass...
Happy New Year LOST Northeasters! :pepper: :JEEPIN:

Sometimes when a guy sells his Lost Jeep, another one gets new life. :frankie: Hislop's 4 inch lift and Super Skinks are still rocking on my KK. Jeff, you were there for my first serious mod (installing the sliders!) :D

I am now in the Trenton, NJ area if anyone wants to do a meet & wrench. Anyone have a heated garage?
To do list:
1. Adjust parking brake tension so it works again
2. Install Fortin remote start kit
3. Replace noisy heims on rear track bar ends

Definitely would like to help, Lauren!
Google says you're 30.2 miles away from me.
Look for my Jeep if you ever drive through Raritan/Somerville/Branchburg area.

That's close, Gage! I'd like to meet up sometime. And I'll keep my eye out for your Jeep.

You put on your own lift, right? I had mine installed by a shop because at that point I didn't know my Jeep as well as I do now, and I lacked a driveway and power tools. I'd like to tackle the track bar ends with someone who knows their way around their suspension. And while the KK is up in the air on jack stands, we can hit the parking brake at the same time. I need to make a run over to Hatfield to Jeepin' By Al's to pick up the track bar ends, though.

I installed the remote start kit tonight. It is sweet! I'll make a quick write up for that.
Cheers, and happy 2015!

Unfortunately I had a shop do my lift. Pretty certain my parking brake needs to be addressed as well.

No worries. I bet you and me, some Pb-blaster, and a breaker bar can figure out the rear track bar. We may need to put the track bar in a vise to get the ends off after it is removed from the Jeep.

The parking brake can be adjusted using the star wheels on the back of the hubs. It may be that easy, or I may end up having to remove the calipers again for access, but it can be done.

Remote start write-up is finished:

I'm still around. Jeff is right though, most are too busy to meet up and a lot are selling their Libertys or worse, totaling them. I actually sat the Jeep up on the beach the other night. The puppy seems to love the sand lol.

Lauren, if I remember right, I think Trenton is a 2 hour drive for me. Maybe a tad longer. And I was there for you're first mod, in heart. I'm pretty sure I was opening the Outback around the block from Brian that day :banghead:

This summer I'm hoping to be able to make a few road trips. NJ Pine Barrens and Rausch might happen...god I need more time lol
