As I am a "newbie" on this board that's what I thought on Friday. Any runs planned for Aug, or Sep? |

Hi there, No runs going on locally that I know of. Where are you at? Maybe we could have something in your area? |

Where's that? I want to say off 280? Or is it off 101 between SJ and SF? |

Hey CAKJ - as lilmatty said I am in SF. I've been to Frank Raines a few times. It's a fun place nice challenges there, defiantly worth the drive out. As well is Hollister - one big playground! Has anyone been to Cow Mountain? I believe that's up 101 North? Is it worth a run? |

We should set a date and just do it. Unfortunately my Saturdays are whacked until Labor Day weekend (yuk) and the first avaialbe Sat is the 10th then the 17th. The closest Sunday would be Aug 28. I'm available most weekdays. Cow Mtn is up near me and it is really nice. I use it as milk runs for new equipment. The trails are confidence builders and there is a really rough obstacle course. I had a run planned there twice this Winter and was rained out both times. Been to HH and think Cow is tougher and bigger. Haven't been to Raines but am told there's something for everyone. Nanette, are you going to be able to make a run before Calico time? |

I won't be free until after my Sep trip up north. I'll watch on the board for any runs in late Sep.... |

I'm working on getting permission for the Death Valley run. Aside from that I have actually been getting weekends off. Wierd! Lots of stuff going on on weekends but I'd love to try and fit in a run. |

Sure rub it in. Shanna and I were up for my grandfathers funeral on tuesday and I was loving the weather. Somedays I wish I was still living back home. Then there are days I enjoy living so close to best trails the west coast has to offer. I see that you responded to my Driveshaft Thread. Funny thing about this stupid Jeep is that it fell out on the way home from the gas station. Good thing it was on the T/C side and not the axle. What a racket. I think I am gonna bury this one in the back yard and place a head stone there for it. Brian |

All is quiet again on the NorCal front... |

So the question is, is it a "calm before the storm" kind of quiet or a "did everyone move?" kind of quiet? |

...or nobody's really interested in a LOST NorCal chapter. That'd be the worst case. |

It seems like it is always the same three people that post on this forum all the time!! Hard to keep a club going with only a few members being active. ![]() ![]() |
