There's a how-to somewhere on the board about the process but basically just cut away the plastic around the pinch weld, beat the thing down with a BFH and then spray the area with undercoater or somesuch. No rub on the swaybar?

Do you have a tranny skid?

yeah, i've got the factory skid plate group. It has the oil pan, tranny, and gas tank (i think).

It doesn't look like i'm getting sway bar rub.
I need to get my head in there tomorrow morning now that i've put a few miles on it and make sure.

Well, I banged out the pinch weld and heated/shaped the liner and the rubbing is 99% gone.

To take care of the 1% of rubbing i just got off the phone with AllJ and the Frankenlift is on its way with OME struts. I should have it all Friday and if all goes smooth i will be spending Saturday on the floor of the garage cursing at the clevis forks :D

It's in!

Install wasn't too bad. The clevis fork as predicted was a pain to line up.
A couple of tips for getting it aligned.

As mentioned before a ratcheting tie down really helps, but i'll add a few details on how to hook it up.
First off, get two.
Next, hook one end to something on the opposite side of the car that you are working on.
Run the straps under oil pan, and around outsides of lower control arm. This causes them to pull in towards the center of car and outward (front and back) which will make getting the bolt in a lot easier.
Make sure the ratchet mechanism is within reach when hooked up.
What i did was tighten up the tie downs, then pry one side and re-tighten, switch to other side, repeat until aligned.
