New here – hello to all!
I was at Lake Tahoe for a few days, so we (my wife and I) ran McKinney Creek Trail
(Backcountry Adventures, Northern Sierra #17). Great trail – especially the portion that uses the Rubicon Trail, the upper part to Baker Pass was easy except we had to push through a couple of snow drifts still across the trail. Did have a few fords (on the Rubicon) with at least one well over my liberty bumper (no lift). Anyone know how deep that water was?
At Barker Pass I intended to take FR03 down but it was still closed so I retraced the trail back down.
Wish I would have had some “LOST” company to add to the enjoyment
