Oh, that's cuz that wasn't me driving my rig. That was Diesel Dave. I was down hill spotting folks over that waterfall. Thought it was odd, cuz you ALWAYS get stuck.

Is the blue KJ in the first photo stock? We're doing Moab next year, and I have a stock 04 sport. I found rentals, but wondering if stock KJ can do most of the trails without too much damage. |

Get one of the Wells guidebooks - it'll list about 40 or so trails (can't find mine right now) some can be run with a stock KJ - some can't be run with any KJ the book is conservative. you'll get further with a trail leaders who know what they're doing. (I wasn't on that trail because they split 'scenic' vs 'difficult' - that was 'difficult' - we had a stock (with skids) on the 'scenic') and just looking at the picture - The blue Jeep has boulderbars, superskid, factory fuel tank skid and Revos - and it looks like he's lifted - just based on the tire/spacing appearance. |
