Post subject:  Trail Work OCT. 4th
Us over in The Hills Angels are at it again. There is some trail work that needs to be done in Dog Valley on October 4th, this Saturday. We are meeting at Summit 1 at the top of the trail before it lowers into Dog Valley above Verdi. We are getting together with the Forest Service to place some big wooden electrical poles to block off the deeply rutted and destroyed parking area up there and I believe we will be making a new one by order of the FS.

So, if you are free and want to do some good for the image of off road enthusiasts everywhere, come join us. Just bring gloves, a lunch and plenty of water.

Let me know if anyone needs better directions and if you plan on making it so we can get a head count.

Just checked NOAA site and the high is supposed to be 59 with 60% chance of rain on Saturday.

Dress warm if you wanna come work. I have asked if it is going to be postponed because of weather but no word if it has been canceled yet or not.

Doesn't look like anyone on here is joining up anyway. :roll:
