Sorry can't make it. Going into Bakersfield for the weekend for a few parties. Wish I could make it. Maybe another time...

Change of plans...I may be able to make a run on the 1st but not on the 31st because of work. Let me know if anyone is going to be able to make it worth while...

I'm definite for the 1st. Getting kicked out of the house anyway.

Might be slogging in the mud but gotta try out my new Frankenlift.

Do you want to meet and drive there together? I've no idea how to find it from Fairfield; my usual route would be through Clear Lake. Or is that the same road?

We can meet up somewhere. There's a Denny's off of 80 in Vacaville(monte vista exit I think). I'm not exactly sure where you are coming from. Is anyone else going?

Take a look and see what is the most direct route for you.........I go 505 to Winters and go around Lake Berryessa (Knoxville-Berryessa Rd.). I don't want to drag you too far out of your way. We might be able to meet by the lake somewhere. Th BLM land is right between Berryessa and Clear Lake.

I'll meet you at the intersection of Pope Canyon Road and Knoxville-Berryessa Roads. The route from St Helena is the closest for me.

When will you know? I'm also wondering if it'll be closed due to the rain.

Funny you should mention rain. I just checked the forecast and rain is predicted thru Sunday. I doubt anything will be closed, but I'm not a big fan of wheelin in the rain. Let's postpone this one for now. The wife and I are going out tomorrow night anyway, so maybe I can follow in Nanette and Jackies footsteps. Sorry, we'll figure out another time to do it, my weekends are usually free.

A while since I've been on here... Is there a date to run Knoxville? I know the area well and don't mind leading. A winch is a must, we ran into a tight spot one time and slide off the trail, only thing holding us up was a tree smashed into the right front tire. I wasn't in my Liberty as I rode up with two Wrangler's, but if it wasn't for the winch not sure how we would have gotten the (red) one out of it. The (silver) one tried with tow-straps but the mud was just too much, and too slick.

I'll keep an eye out for the next possible run to Knoxville. My buddy (Red Wrangler) were talking about a run in February to Hollister, but I am sure I could talk him into Knoxville if there some interest in Knoxvill over Hollister.

Here's some photos from that run: http://www.pbase.com/lj0913/jeepn

Happy New Year!
-Larry

Hey Larry. Good to hear from you. The knoxville NYD run, of course, got rained (flooded) out. In fact my place was without power for most of NY day. Good thing there wasn't any games on that day.

I've a winch so not worried about that.

I'm waiting for someone to step up with a new date to make that run to Knoxville. Weekend of the 20th is out for me as I'm going down to Tucson for the LOST AZ run so the weekend after is probably also shot.

Besides domain registration is due so I need to sell more stickers and/or Tshirts.

Hey Matt,

Life got crazy. We moved, then a week after we moved to our new place I had to go to Berlin, Germany for a month and a half for business, then life just plain got in the way. We're settled in and I am ready to explore.

How does February 11th sound for everyone? If that's a bad date feel free to post another date.

Good to know about the winch, as I only have tow-hooks..

Have a GREAT time in AZ!

-Larry

Feb 11 sounds good to me.

Post the proposed run in another thread so folks'll notice it. This threads a bit worn out, so to speak.
