This is sort of funny to me. Way back in...what, 2003 or something, I help start the NorCal chapter of LOST with some great guys from the area. We came up with an awesome first generation decal and did some wheeling around the Strawberry area and Eagle Lakes trails.
I have moved on from the day of my '02 Renegade Libby by purchasing and building up some really great XJs, but I have always had the KJ in my heart as one of my earlier and most fond Jeep vehicles.
Tonight I spotted a very well build dark blue KJ with pink license plate trim at a Mexican restaurant near the Galleria Mall. I tried to get the attention of the bearded driver, but he drove that beast through the parking lot like a professional driver in a fine tuned machine. I eventually found it parked in the On the Boarder lot and checked it out. Sure enough, it sported a newer generation Nor Cal LOST decal near the Cal 4Wheel decal up front on the fenders.
All I can do at this point is give a virtual Jeep wave to you and salute your nicely modded KJ and thank you for the memories that flooded into my brain stem from long ago. If you get this, post up and perhaps we can wheel together like long lost brothers with your modified KJ and my XJ on its 5.5" of lift.
