I've been reading all the UBJ and LBJ problems and am kinda worried, have any of you had problems getting warranty work with a lift on the KJ. i would imagine that Roseville would give you the run around i will never go back to roseville ever... (for lots of reasons) but does anybody know if any dealers are lift friendly??? |

I don't know of any friendly dealers period. I was in there the other day looking at the Rubi's and the stealsperson tried to buy my KJ from me. I looked at him and said, hell no man. My KJ stays for life. Getting that dam SFA kit will finally give it a chance to do the Rubicon on my annual Tahoe excursion! Hell yea baby! Anyways...off topic...I do not know of any mod friendly dealers, but I'm sure there may be some somewhere... |

Mine is pretty good, but only if you want to drive down here. Try driving around and seeing if any of them sell lifted Dodges or other Jeeps. If they do it should be a good sign. |

The local dealer here is Lithia and they could care less once the KJ leave the showroom. Service guys are useless. I've heard that the Petluma Jeep dealer is lift friendly but don't know for sure. It's off warranty anyhow so I eithe rdo the work myself or take it to a reputable outfit. My LBJ was replaced under recall at 5000 miles and was bad again at 35000. The second time around I got Moogs shipped from Jeepin Al and replaced them myself. I'll have his UBJs coming to me after Moab and will replace them anyway even though the stockers test ok. If you find a dealer to warranty repair them then be on notice that you may well have to do them again. That's cuz they're going to put the same old defective ones back in. In fact, for personal safety I'd sure check them every 10000 miles. But if you can afford it go with the Moogs. |

Yeah. I hate dealer service. Folsom is pretty cool so far they seem more competent than Roseville. OMG how did those Roseville employees pass high school...... anyway i'm not looking for warranty on suspension i just don't want them to blame the lift kit for say..... a stereo problem. you know how they are it's always your fault....... |

One thing you can do in preparation is read the warranty fine print. Get to know it better than they know it. Especially what voids a warranty. I found this worked with the computer makers. |
