| Post subject: | Hollister Hills Monday April 10th |
Hi all, So KJ in a tight spot brought up the wonderful idea of going to Hollister on Monday April 10th. So who's up for it? We'll go on any trail/area that you guys are comfortable with. If you want it to be a learning day so be it. If you want to just roam around and see what we come across, we'll do that. If you want to take your KJ through the mud pit or Tank Trap, I'll be there with my camera watching from the sidelines. Any takers? We have myself, Matty (if there's more than 2 or us) and kj in a tight spot will most likely be there too since it was his idea. We never got far enough to get a set time. The earliest I'll be off work and there is 1:30 and it's open until sunset. Nothing is reserved so the park is open for general wheeling that day. |

I really hate to do this, but I may or may not have to bail on this one, even though it was my idea...I know I know |

No problem, stuff comes up. Let me know later if you're still in and I'll be there. Anyone else interested? Any skill level would be fine, as long as you show up. |

14 and that weekend are ng for me. Easter with the little grandkids. Not to be missed. But that's also to close to Moab departure in case I need some 'adjustment time' afterward. You guys go ahead and pick a day. |

Hi All, I do not think I can take off during the week. I had to miss 1 week already this year due to my Mom's sickness. I wanted to see her for probably the last time. April 15 in the evening I have a going away party for some very close friends. Previously he has been my spotter on some challenging trips! Morning and or early afternoon sound like fun! Or any time on the 16. Thanks, MikeS. |

Yeah, stupid rain. I've got some stuff coming up too. I'll check with Hollister and verify any weekend days that they're open and we'll try this again. It would be so awesome if the 5 of us and kj in a tight spot could all go on the same day. |

There was a suggestion once about doing Frank Raines park out by Patterson. Again rain. It's a more central location to those Valley Folks. Of course, mid May last year we did the Pelegrine Trail up in Red Bluff. Fun trail. |

If you are interested the Sierra Chapter of NAXJA is having a run tomorrow out at Frank Raines, open to all: Info: http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=78988 Normally I would be there but I am in overtime hell at work right now and am working almost every day until the end of the month. Some one should go even if I can't. There is a trail up a creek full of boulders if you want to do rock crawling. Then there are some easier trails. Because of the rain I think the steeper sections are closed. I think you would have a good time. Mary |

Never actually been there but I saw a posting on another site. Sounds like a great place when it is dry. That site said that the soil is very slick. They had lockers and mud tires and still could not make up very many hills. I've been waiting for the weather to clear up before I tackle it. |

Heck, then, somebody oughta call a LOST NorCal day out at Raines. And after the rains. Somehow, someway, all you NorCal lerkers out there need to get together with us others that have met, got the sticker, got the shirt. With Moab coming up my first best day for this would be May 20. |
