Hey all,

I am going to have the money for a lift kit and tires here in a month or so but have to have a shop install it due to my warranty. I'm heading out to the 4 Wheel Parts store up in Plano off of Plano Pkwy sometime this weekend to check it out but I wanted to get recommendations about shops in the area, a good place to get tires, and any other advice you might want to give. Thanks!

discount tire is where i usually get my shoes from.
they have pretty good deals and most often have
sales going on.

Thanks! That was what I was thinking for shoes. I am trying to figure out what kind of 2.5 inch lift to get and where to get it installed (have to due to warranty issues). So far as I am aware 4 Wheel parts is it. I really haven't found too much else in the Dallas area, at least on the intertubes that is.

honestly installing the lift is very easy.
once you do it, its not that hard.

if your wanting to do the once and done lift,
i.e. getting it right the first time, then go with
the old man emu medium duty lift. as long
as you dont plan on adding bumpers and
stuff, the mediums will work great. otherwise
i think you can go to the dealership and they'll
put a spacer lift on for you, but those arent
bullet proof.

id be glad to help you install the lift if you wanted
to make the drive to austin.

Thanks for the info. If I can sell my other car quickly I would prefer the OME lift, it just depends on the funds. I appreciate the offer for the help with the install. I'll think about it but I'm not going to have cash for this for a around a month or so. Thanks!
