anyone have the low down on the local trails around austin / houston area?
also be interested in making a run over to east texas / longview / tyler area.

wasnt sure how active the tx group is, but in medwest we have made many runs to natl parks and offroad parks. the only " offroad park " that i know of is on my 500 acre farm!

looking forward to getting back home!!

Austin Jeep Exclusive is the local Austin Jeep club and they do almost monthly runs on two pieces of property out in Cedar Creek/Bastrop. It's like $15 or 20.

Otherwise they run out at Tree's Ranch, The YO Ranch, Long Ranch, Katemcy, and whereever else anyone wants to run.

I've been to Cedar Creek with Austin Jeep Exclusive and it is a very nice place. Easy to hard trails there.

In Spring there is the Spring Creek Off road park, they have some good trails and a new rock crawling course they built for WE Rock, I don't know what it cost for the new course but the park is 10 dollars and it is open year round. They also have a mud drag once a month and I believe it is 30 dollars to run. If anybody wants to wheel out there maybe we can go and wheel.

Heck yeah. Come out to Spring Creek. We can laugh when everyone there makes fun of my Liberty only to watch it kick the cr@p out of all of them. Muahahahahaha
True story, street tires and all.

You can also go to www.txmud.com and it lists a bunch of trails (some only for ATVs/bikes) with reviews and descriptions.
