 Post subject: EDWIN A/C ????

I cleaned my coils in the air handler best I could with a wet vac. Can U just spray them lightly with water and let it run into the pan?

TOO much time on my hands.

I don't think Edwin will have time to check the web until.....maybe late November

(I haven't tried opening the air handler - I just change filters a lot)

I'm a filter changer too, was someone else's house before. I'm sure he is busy though.

Each of my houses has two return air vents. I keep on top of the changing though. I have some of those washable jobbers but I don't use them.

I had some of the washable ones too - until the company that installed the new AC - pointed out how much dust builtup there was on the old coils - add condensation and you get corrosion pinholes....

I buy the good paper filters now.........
