Sorry about the confusion from my initial post guys. The wording and explanation to me was a bit confusing. After looking into it here's my understanding: As long as your vehicle is street legal and full size it does not need an OHV permit. That being said, since there are not a lot of trails for full size rides like ours maybe if TPWD sees that a bunch of us have put down the $8 they'll put that money into making more trails for us. I know it's a pipe dream, but here goes

Not all of them allow full sized OHVs, but some do. Anyways, sorry about the confusion.
