having a lift to put on and not having a concrete driveway or a garage. and of course, it freaking rains on the weekend you have planned to install it so you have to wait to the next weekend and hope it doesn't rain on that darn weekend.

Yeah, same here, installed my lift in the dirt/grass/rocks/ants/yard. I bought a few cheap moving blankets from Harbor Freight which helps keep the fire ants off and cushions those unseen pebbles from digging in my knee caps.

i am going to do it on 3/4 plywood. i picked up using plywood when i had to drop the tranny to a bmw i used to have to replace the flywheel.

i got bored and thought i would look at what it takes to do the swap. that upper control arms are the only part i cannot get a wrench on. i either don't have the right wrench or the steering linkage is in the way. what does a person have to remove to get that top arm off?



if we drive up there, it won't be for two or three weeks. we have to go to brownsville the weekend that is coming up for my wife's uncle's birthday. they have crazy big block parties where they barricade off the street and don't sleep the whole weekend
