I just re-joined this forum and noticed the Texas group. Do you guys actually hold meetings? Or do you just get together when and where ever ya'll can in this great state of ours? I'm in Austin and was wondering if there are others around that wheel their KJ's, and where? All the places I used to go(in my TJ) are now closed(Slabs in Llano) or developed(probably wasn't legal). I did see those pics from last weekend that were posted, so I figured there must be something close by.

I was also wondering if there was a lift party in the works anytime soon? Looking to buy my Frankenlift really soon, along with some tires, and could certainly appreciate some installation experience. Not necessarily with the tires.

Anyway, just wanted to say hey. So, hey. I also joined the Lonestar LOST group, although it doesn't look like there is much traffic over there.

Welcome. The place to wheel that is in the pics is in Bastop County, about 40 miles east of Austin.

Thanks. I think I actually saw you in your truck when I was on my way back from Lost Maples a few weekends ago, rolling down 16. Hard to not notice a lifted KJ.

I actually just bought the lift last night, Heather from AllJ said it should be here by next weekend.

Too bad I missed the party. I'm hopin' to get mine all together by next Sunday. Tires and all. But we'll see.

Cool, that's not far at all. Is it a pay-to-play or by invite only? It looks fun.

Anyone been to Katemcy Rocks? Looks pretty cool, although a little extreme on some trails.
