ATXKJ, I'm gonna do it thursday. I've purchased my new races & axle seals. I'm ready to dump the $$$ into this project all because of you. I was saving my money for a set of gold teeth with diamonds...oh well. This is the device folks: http://www.auburngear.com/oemdifferentials/ected/ http://www.oramagazine.com/currentIssue ... ed-qt.html Wish my project luck....Please I'll keep yall updated. Its only money right? ECTED = 113 six packs of Sam Adams, or 339 half gallons of soy milk, or 562 bottles of Tabasco, and only 281 gallons of gas. Or the wife getting pissed at ya for wasting new shoe money...Priceless!! |

Well, I guess the No-slip is as good as it gets. ECTED is a no-go Problems: 1. There is a note in the box to replace the diff bearings and drive bearings with this install....$$$$$ still not a concern 2. Auburn gear lied to me for 8 months and the device is not manufactured for ABS tone ring after all. The plus side: 1. The no-slip and all internals are spotless 2. I've learned to drive it on the street 3. Its awesome offroad Project is dead, I bought my gold teeth instead (rhyme Bomb) Reasons to have a No-slip: Today I have 500 reasons why the powertrax is the best option, for me noise was not on the list. I'm stuck with it and do agree (now) noise ain't a reason not to have one. The fact there are 30 something parts in your rear axle that can COST ya, the No-slip only replaces about seven of the least expensive and don't interfere with the rest. |
