I had fun out there today. Haha its kinda fun getting stuck except for the last one when i took the wrong line. I thought there was going to get some damage but the light just popped out. Great job on leading Henry! I dont have pics because my camera was out of batteries. Sry guys I also didnt say goodbye to everyone I was trying to make it to the blackhawks game. Cant wait for the next run. Good luck to you guys running tomorrow and be safe.

We did miss you out there
hope you can make it next time

Next time, for sure! High school football season's over, and wedding season's slow (I'm getting out of weddings anyway), so I don't have much going on until spring, just the 9-5 grind Monday-Friday.

I'll be lifted next time on the trail. My brother who builds Hummers in South Bend is going to help me install a Daystar KJ09123 spacer lfit (1.5" front and 2" rear). That kit should meet my needs for a little more ground clearance and more truck-like stance without hitting me too hard in the wallet. I'll have change left to buy some skids. The CRD guys seem very happy with this lift, so I expect more than 1.5" of lift in the front given my lighter front end. As badly as I want a Rusty's coil lift, I can't justify the extra $$$ when I don't plan to wheel very hard or very often. I'm hoping this conservative amount of lift won't cause any other problems or require other upgrades like longer shocks or aftermarket arms. Daystar tech support says longer shocks aren't necessary, but they don't hurt either.

Thanks for remembering my birthday, Lou! I turn 35 Tuesday. Kinda depressing, but I've always felt age is just a number.

Cheers,

T.J.

Good to hear your getting some more height. I think you will be very happy with the results. I know I was very, very happy with mine.

it defintly was a great time and was nice to meet everyone again and see new faces. Thank you henry for pointing out that they had a fab shop on site that got me home with no problems.

Great Time for sure. Took about 2 hours with a hose to clean out most of the under carriage.

I did get some pix. I will post them soon.

Shawn, I believe you get the "Dirtiest KJ" award for the weekend! Your Jeep was covered in mud after our little run in the dunes!! It was nice to see a CRD out there and it was nice meeting you and your wife, hope to wheel w/ you again soon!

Trust me two years ago when I hit 40, the birthday depression just went away. Your right, it's just a number!
