I was signed out when you posted last night so I didn't get the ebay message til this a.m. The hooks sold for $66 with $12 shipping. Seems halfway reasonable. Thanks for the tip, I'll keep my eyes open  for future deals on ebay. BTW - in my previous post I said I was going to THE BADLANDS this Saturday...well, I got ahead of myself. I'm actually not going until Sat, 10/21/06. If anyone is going that day, let me know so I can say hi and see your rig. Ryan.

If you can wait another week, or just go again then you would get to meet quite a few people.

Alot of the trails were overgrown when I was there, so make sure you put a few coats of wax on to prevent scratches.

With the weather we're having here in beautiful Indiana...bring extra sweatshirts and coats...It's pretty cold!!! Hopefully we'll have good weather for the run tho.

jut get a roll of serane (sp?) wrap. in this weather you shouldn't have to worry about it hurting your finish.

Okay, I take that back. I said I'd never though of waxing up the Libby really good for a Badlands run.
Now I can truly say; "I never thought of THAT..." in reference to Saran Wrap on my Jeep.
Have you done it?
I'd love to see anyones photos.
It would make for a good picture that doesn't have a caption and then you have to try to fill in the blanks as to what you're looking at.
Sports Illustrated kids usually has thing like that if you have no idea what I'm talking out.

3M makes a clear vinyl wrap that can be custom cut to you can and will protect the paint and can be peeled right off. my buddy has used this for quite awhile on his neon to protect his paint from cones while autocrossing.

Ingenious. It's like skid plates for the rest of the vehicle.
