I grew up right down the road from this place. yes you can wheel back there but it is private land. a few people have been busted for going back there. all i have to say is watch out guys. I am assuming the resturant you guys are talking about is little johns. so i would keep most of this to PM's. sorry to be a jackass but i dont want our club getting a bad name.

thats where I was trying to go as well, and be nice about it. All it takes is one person telling someone else or someone seeing it on here and then BAM its closed to everyone

Maybe do some research first 03KJ. Stop by the retirement home and talk to an Admin about who owns the trails and see if they don't mind you using them.

If they say yea, pass a hat when everyone gets there and give the money to the home for letting you use the trails as a 'thank you' to them.

Man, I was just up that way today (in Schaumburg) for a meeting!

Sounds like a good idea. Let's find out who owns that back there.

Think thats a good idea for you all, find out who owns it, offer to do some clean up or something while you are back there playing and maybe you will end up with a nice play area for LOSTKJERS! I hope I didnt make it sound like you should not go, just from experience I know what can happen when "the word gets out " about a great place to wheel, everyone is there and next thing you know a chain is across the entrance.

Plus didn't want to have to drive out to bail all your butts out of jail!

I'd be willing to head back there with a garage bag or two.

If we get the OK, I'll prolly head out with ya. Would be more than happy to help clean the place up.

Yes just try to make an argeement with ryland that we will come like every other weekend and do a clean up of the area pull dead trees into a pile and other little odd jobs to keep the area nice. If we can ride the trails and keep them nice and groomed maybe even lock the entrance and have somone from our club with the key and we can have planed clean up/wheelings.?

What do ya think?

Kill em with kindness people seem to like that, and maybe if they don't want us using this area they may have undeveloped land that isn't scheduled to build on for a long time that they may let us wheel on.
