Orange isn't as bad as you make it sound. Just kinda tippy in places, I notice that the Liberty's have a higher center of gravity.

We're going to have a number of vehicles there on sat and a handful on sunday (I'll be there both days...)

Don't get too hasty on declaring we'll run the orange - maybe we can split into groups later in the day and do more challenging things but lets see who shows up and how equipped they are :P After running with blaine be prepared to watch him go places we cant - there also will be a nicely modified zj and some mod'd wranglers

As for food... i was going to stock up on sandwich materials/ beverages/other easy stuff for the day - I plan on camping at the badlands so I'll bring grillables and perhaps after a run on saturday we can have a cook out @ the badlands campsite?

evan - pm shirt sizes and the total # of people w/you

Who all will be attending Saturday? Sunday? Both days?

Of course we're not ALL running the Orange trail...that was a plan for Blaine and me as well as anyone else who's willing.

Rob...2 for sure...I'll get back to you as we get closer on the other 2. 1-M,1-S

And watching him go places we can't????? ARB lockers equipped....whats stopping a KJ from following anyone else at the badlands besides smaller tires????? Of course we'll be dragging...but still possible!! Later in my plans for the KJ.... 8)

Oh ya, gettin an alignment tomorrow....after putting it off for about a month and a half, my tires are unevenly worn, stupid on my part.

Then off to find a hilift/strap. Maybe even a receiver hitch insert, although I like my ghetto fab of removing the hitch ball and sliding in a D ring :)

Its still going to be $5 a guest as we're planning a cookout at the end of the day...

I think it would be wise to get a list of those members who WILL be attending this run for sure...just to get an idea of where we stand.

I'll start it off, List yourself number of guests (not including yourself) and how many/what size shirt you need so Rob (Callaway) can get a final count. Bringing food items is optional.

Halloween Run Sat. 28th Attendance List
FastTRX--+3 Shirts:1-Med,1-Small Bringing:Chips/Drinks

here's my list so far (this is not a final listing)... feel free to tell me I'm wrong. If you're planning on bringing something please post.

as of 10-9-07...

Is everyone going to meet at 9:00 when they open?
or
Are there going to be people showing up all throughout the day
The reason i'm asking is myself and two others have about a 4.5 hr drive to the badlands... We could be there at 9:00 but I hate to wake up at 4:30. unless I don't have to.
Thanks
Chris

Well, I'll be there at 9am (8am my time).

I get up at 5 every time I go, really don't need to, but the extra time to wake up before driving is crutial :)

Sweet, can't wait.

Is there anything I should bring special for the event or no?

I'm so jealous! With a baby due 10/29, I have to stick close to home. I haven't missed any of my kids' births yet, and I don't want to start now. Take plenty of pics and video.

With the new baby, work, and grad school, I guess I'm done wheelin' for the year since Redbird doesn't seem to be happening this weekend. :(

I may sound ignorant but i've never been to the Badlands
If some of us don't make it till 10-11 will we be able to find all the LOST guys and gals?
Do you have a set a CB channel or something? or are we going to be splitting up based based on capabability.
my group is going to be there both days so I guess it doesn't really matter. However, my KJ would like to hang out with all the other KJ's instead of my two buddy's lame TJ's... oops

With the number of people coming we prob wont get started till 10ish (traffic/lines/delays/late nights are all bound to happen) so don't worry about getting there late.

If you don't see us in the lower parking lot give channel 13 a try or call my cell (847-921-4452) and we'll find you.
