Well, it's not so secret anymore, is it?

Still working on the new KJ. I've got all the skids on now but I'm trying to solve some tire rubbing issues at full flex before I take this thing off road. Attica is so close to home compared to the last meet and greet, but I'm just not ready for the off road thing yet... I'll keep modding at my high pace - maybe I'll make it...

Has anyone here in the midwest section used wheel spacers like the ones made by spidertrax? I did a search and found only two people had posted on actually using these with positive results.

http://www.spidertrax.com/s.nl/sc.2/cat ... id.1134/.f

With 95% of my driving on the road at 15,000 miles a year I wonder if something like this will hold up or get me killed (I want to keep my stock wheels).

Has anyone decided for sure you are staying overnight, and if so what time are you leaving sunday? I was just offered a ticket to Sundays bears game, so if nobody is staying to wheel on Sunday, I will go to the game.

I'M considering the Best Western in Lafayette $90. It has a pool and a lounge. If my Wife and Baby come, I'll let them hang out at the pool.

AllJeep,
This will be a great opportunity to see where you are rubbing. Hit the mud pit first, then the trail. When your done you will see where your tire rubbed off the mud.

I think I can swing that as well. Let me know if and when you book.

3 STAR HOTEL

Join elite club on website ( takes 1 minute ) then you can book room with two full beds for $72
Seems a lot nicer than Best Western cable, great pool breakfast included. Henry I do not know if you can still cancel your reservation. If you cannot cancel it, I will book it there as well, so we can all stay at the same place

Either one works for me. Is Lee's Inn closer?

I Like the idea of the Lee's Inn better as well. However, Henry jumped the gun and won't be able to cancel since he booked on Yahoo Travel.

I will only be booking for saturday night and driving down saturday morning. Anyone else planning to check in on Friday like Henry?

BTW, The Best Western Website has the same exact rate available as Yahoo Travel and all the other travel websites for that matter. The one plus side of Best Western is that they have a lot of restaurants on property. That might be worth $10 extra.

Sorry guys...
I wanted to get this thing done
cannot cancel reservation

I'll be leaving Chicago area on Friday around 7:00 - 7:30 pm. Will take 294 south to 80-90 east to 65 south. I'll probably be fighting traffic but I want to get a good sleep on Fri. Anyone going same route/time, we can meet up anywhere.
