Pixel do you have the ranchos in the front. I just blew one of mine a few weeks ago. PM me if you could with details on how it happened. I don't wanna hijack this tread more than I already have.

In any case, I'm not really sure how it happened. I just know that I went off pavement last weekend and then sometime during the week I heard a slight banging when I would go from park to reverse, that I assumed was my superskid hitting my catalytic converter(s). I didn't use the spacers All J supplied, and assumed I had bent the skid enough that they would touch when the engine torques on its mounts.
Low and behold, when I looked underneath, I saw the lovely sight of a blown rancho. dripping oil everywhere. Mind you, nothing at my local offroad park is hard core, but I have wheeled the crap out of my KJ in the last year, including Moab and I am sure that it was an over time stress thing. I view it as one of the costs of playing hard.
I was going to spring for a pair of OME struts, but at $260 for the pair vs. $80 for one Rancho, I think I'll stick with Rancho for now.
