So, after the Badlands run, I'm taking my wife to Chicago for a Sunday-Monday long weekend. Can anyone point me to convienent places where I might find a hotel. Most everything downtown (that I've found) is over $250. |

yup, preety much the std. You could stay in the suburbs, but what fun is that? Try www.biddingfortravel.com (they kind of map out what you will get with priceline if you bid blindly). |

I think a cabin in the woods would be better myself, but the boss thinks that Chicago is the place to be... |

a $ 250 per night hotel in downtown is pretty much on the low end you r going to need to do some research online and see what you can come up with Stay with the "Brand Name" hotels |

Deerfield is nice - about 30 minutes from the city on the weekend. You were just south by that hotel when we met for you to buy my stock wheels. |

If there's anyway you can swing it, stay down town. Anywhere. The wife and I stayed at the Hard Rock down town in February and it was very nice. Yes, a bit pricey but downtown Chicago is awesome. Public trans works great and there's nothing like walking Michigan Ave. Plenty of entertainment choices and some of the best places to eat in the country. We have friends that live in Wrigleyville, and we still stay downtown. My .02, Matt |
