Post subject:  Halloween Badlands Event - Sat 10/28/06

Image

When: Saturday, October 28, 2006 - 9 AM to 5 PM

Where: Badlands Offroad Park, Attica, IN - http://www.badlandsoffroad.com

Suggested Equipment: CB Radio, tow points, skid plates. While none of this is necessary, it helps. If we end up heading to a trail where you might face damage without armor, we will let you know and you can ride along.

Since this run is becoming so large, we willbe organizing into 2-3 seperate groups, with an experienced leader and tail gunner in each group. We will most probably have one group that heads the the orange (difficult) trail and another that heads to the moderate and easy trails. The opportunity will be there to run more trails this way, as with a large group, it can be slow moving

We will get back together for pot-luck lunch on the trail, so please bring something to share! (We will be grilling hot-dogs, as is the LOST Midwest tradition at the Badlands.)

There will be tshirts available at the low, low price of $5 each. Please, please support the chapter buy purchasing one or many! If we can get everyone to buy at least one, it will make it worth it for KJ-BOL to print them. Please post your size (and the size of others in your Jeep that will want one) so that we can plan ahead. (kids M, L and adult L, XL, XXL) We will have extras in adult XL available.

If you would like one, but are not going to attend the run, please send $8 via paypal to pixeldzn at comcast dot net, specifying size in the paypal comments.

We will also be holding a raffle for those with paid memberships. You do not need to be in attendance to win, but those that are there may get to participate in a special event raffle as well.

there you go

Found a room over in Kokomo, IN for $32.39 a night
so it's 1 1/2 driver to the park.
I'm coming Friday night for Saturday

Yea I'm pretty sure we do...cause our time is already pretty much screwed up (especially in my county) and I imagine it will change. We need a new governor...

So that means if the park usually opens at 9...on sunday it'll open at 10!! Well actually 9...

The area of indiana where attica is does NOT honor daylight savings time.
