Hello,
I am with the Fat Boys Jeepers and I would like to invite everyone to come
over to Haspin Acres (Laurel, IN) on January 27th for our 4th Annual Groundhog Trailride
at 9:00 a.m. We will be hosting this event for the Indiana Four Wheel Drive
Association (www.ifwda.org) AND GUESTS. You will need to pay your
$13.00/person admission at the gate and then come down to the shelter pass
the parking lot. Look for the IFWDA and FBJ banner. All we ask is that you
sign-in with us and pickup up a lunch ticket. It looks like we are going to
have chili and hot dogs around noon. Donations will be accepted.
Although trailrides will be informal, we will have some guided trails for
those that don't know the property but feel free to take off on your own.
Please RSVP with Chef Toni ( rickandtonireece@yahoo.com ) if you plan on
attending and eating with us. (That way we don't run out of food.)
If you have any questions you can contact me at snkjeeper@aol.com or Rick
at rickandtonireece@yahoo.com .

Hmmmm... I have always wanted to check out Haspin Acres. Anyone else thinking of going?

I might give it a shot. A guy down the street rides dirt bikes down there with his sons. From what I've heard, it's more fun for mud boggers and ATVs. I'm just not into mud. I'd rather try Redbird, but they're closed until spring.

I've been to Haspin once. There is a lot of mud, but there are some other nice spots and even some rocks. Its similar in size to the badlands, but the trails are not as well marked, if there really are any official trails.

I'd consider it, but right now I have too many things going on.

Friendly bump but I will not be going. Got dinner plans now but thought some other might enjoy this trip on Sat.
