OK I did some research for those of us that don't know where this place is at. This is a map of the location through MapQuest (near the Flint area) Here is a link to the park website with all the information you need That is pretty close to my house - I just need to convince my wifey that I won't kill the liberty.[/url] |

Even if you don't go out and play it might be cool to just go to the "gathering" and hang out with some of the people there. I'm still pretty stock (other than tires) and I don't think there will be too many problems if they have a "kiddy pool" for my Liberty to play in. |

Sorry for being away, good job on the info. Permits needed: Michigan ORV license (get at Bass pro, Gander Mtn etc.) Park entrance Thats it. And yes a stocker can run, since the worst areas have cuts around the holes. Additionally, you can park in thegroup meet area and ride with someone else if you wish. You should be ok though, I was. Heck, I am still stock, just got better tires and tow hooks. D |

Don't worry you won't have the only KJ there. mine will be in the parking lot btw this link works better http://www.greatlakes4x4.com/showthread.php?t=26700 basically for those of you that don't know, a group used to have an event in February, but it became too hard to get the proper permits, etc. The event was Moundsapolooza. but that hasn't existed for a few years. So its just a day for people to show up, since its a public place. |

D when was the last time you were there. hahahaha I had to turn back around and drive all the way around the park to leave again, and this is was in my Samurai. Just a word of Advice for the liberty drivers if they show and have never been there. Don't drive over/in any obstacles until you see somebody else do it, then make your decision on whether you want to go there or not. The park ranges from 2wd fun, to Big hillbillie mud fun, short steep hill climbs (berms) The mud has life of its own, be thankful its winter so there will be less to deal with. |

Lets see, October. And if you follow someone who goes all the time, or get a map of the trails and holes you should be able to safly have a good time. Just be smart. If the spot in front of you looks super deep, go around it. |

its not as bad as the pictures make it out to be, you can stay in the well traveled areas and be fine, But if you look at the vehicles in most of those pictures, besides the XJ and my "old" samurai the smallest tire is a 35" and i don't really care about body damage on the samurai, so it goes in the trees. if you go to www.wegotmud.com you can see lots of Mud pictures an other lighter areas too. |

If you stick to the main trails and don't wander off in certain areas you should be fine, Just travel with people with similar trucks. |

Nope not green. And like you said if you stay aware of yourself, you should have no problems to minimal. If you look at the pictures posted, each stuck vehicle have tracks around it. Take the bypass when in doubt. |
