OK, based on what all the other chapters are doing, I propose that our Midwest BBQ be smoked pork shoulder (sliced or pulled, but someone else gets to pull it!) and smoked turkey breasts. I'm estimating that I'll have $150 in 75# of pork and 20# of turkey. That comes to $2/head for the main dish based on 75 heads(I'll donate the rub, charcoal, fruit wood & equipment), and that amount of food should feed 100 (leftovers for Friday!). So, I'd like to get feedback and a go/no-go from the officers so I can make the preliminary order with the local meat market in Moab by mid-March. Thanks, Jason |

do it. i will cover it and either get reimbursed by the chapter, or sell tickets to replace the funds. any remainder will go back to the club's account and/or a charity to be voted upon after Moab. |
