Are any of you Midwesterners (not going to Moab) interested in doing a badlands run on Sunday April 22nd? We'd plan on being there approx 9 - 5 Attica time let me know... |

I"m just curious. Why sunday instead of saturday? I would consider if it were sat.... I work Monday and live in NE ohio, so it's a long drive. |

I'm going down to Champaing IL Friday night and am locked into doing something at the U of I Saturday the 21st so I would be in the area of the Badlands (sort of) maybe some other weekend would work best to get more people to go... i dont know... if theres people who take interest in going on the 22nd we'll go |

Saturdays are best, but I can probably do that Sunday. Let me check with my other half. Since I'm giving her plenty of notice, we'll probably work something out, barring any major events that weekend that I don't know about yet. |

I wana say I can make it but I'm not sure yet because thats around the time I go on our senior trip for school. I'm pretty sure I'll be in Orlando that weekend... Let me find out... Anyway I can get you to change to the weekend before the 22nd??? That would be a much better weekend for me...because near the end of April and May I am booked...it's guna get busy since I'm a senior!! I need some boulder bars and then I'm good to go...I'd be glad to lead again...once I get my dang CB back in commission!!!

Just a follow-up: Can do 4/21, but not 4/22. My wife and daughter have a family event that day, so I'll be babysitting my toddler. If there's a 4/21 group going, I will attend. No, I won't bring her along. I think our recent trip to TN turned her against riding in any kind of vehicle.

I can't make this run...I'd love to but this is a busy time of year for me with my racing season coming up and all my graduating class activities. I'll be in Florida during that time so I'll be out. Lets get something started for May....

I'm with VideoGuy. Can do 4/21, but not 4/22. Will probably be stock height still. I'm buying my lift on the 14th or 15th, but probably cant get installed before 21st. |

Hows the first weekend (5th/6th) of May sounding? I have stuff going on the 12th and 13th so that would be a no go for me, BUT any weekend AFTER that date I'm probably in the clear...for atleast right now. (26th/27th Looks real good too) Saturdays work the best for most I'm seeing... Of course this would also be UNOFFICIAL/NON-L.O.S.T. Midwest Sanctioned unless the Officers decided differently.... This run would be safe for stockers, meaning we will stick to the green trail (bring yourself at your own risk and know the consequences of wheeling and possible damage.) You can't assume that the spotters will be "experienced" or "professional" by any means. Anybody have any input about dates...?? |

Stay out of the tube on the right. It's been washed out. You might rip your bumper off exiting!

Callaway, AndySRT, and me already knew that....we tried the one on the left as you approach them. I made it through w/ a small amount of rocker damage (no boulder bars) but Callaway got hung up on his boulder bars.... 
Photos were taken by Andy and Callaway. The dam deal before the culverts was reallly washed out...I believe I had water about 7-8 inches below my door handles....almost above the headlights!  I was very worried about the intake...thank god I made it through.
I WILL have Boulder Bars before I go again...

We should post up trail reports for bad spots like that so we can avoid damage. I just about ripped my plastic bumper off last week

ya im quite glad i desided not to follow callaway and fast TRX threw the tubes. otherwise I'm sure body damage would of been a big problem. |
